South Bermondsey is an area of London which is home to Millwall F.C. and their New Den Stadium. There is talk of Millwall being re-developed into a Sports City which would see new residential and commercial space being built giving the area an economic boost! Moreover, the regeneration in the rest of Bermondsey (especially Bermondsey Spa) is likely to spill over into South Bermondsey.

This suburb is served by South Bermondsey railway station, with a possible future station at Surrey Canal Road. South Bermondsey railway station is on the South London Line, between London Bridge and Queens Road Peckham. It is also served by trains from London Bridge to West Croydon via Dulwich and Crystal Palace.
